John Wood has been brewing since 1999 and moved to the hillside of Moelfre

overlooking Abergele in 2006. Since then a great deal has happened with developing the brewery building and grounds around it, culminating in 2012 with sinking a bore hole so that we can use our own water in the development of our products.

Beers such as Abergele Ale, Welsh Stout, Bodelwyddan Bitter, Moelfre IPA & our specialised Chilli & Dandelion & Burdock beer are sold in bottles at Farmers Markets,

Food Festivals and Seasonal Shows.

  Alongside our Traditional Real Ales we produce Mead & other Mediaeval recipes –

Braggot, Cypher & Melomel.

Traditional Soft Drinks, Dandelion & Burdock, Ginger, Cream of Soda, Cherry, are also produced

Our Mobile ‘DRAGONS BAR’ at the Brewery is licensed  for you to buy Beer to take home.
